If you are one of the fortunate ones to be in a Fibre to the Premises area your connection is somewhat unique
Your service plugs into the Fibre Router. at the time of writing this is inside a plain white housing with NBN monogrammed onto it. this housing contains the final glass fibre routing before it connects to the router DO NOT DISTURB the fibre.
the router itself has 6 user related ports.
Four of these ports are for the internet services available to this device
Two of these ports can run telephone lines
In business premises this router can operate up to 4 separate businesses via the 4 data ports
The Fibre Router does not need to be installed with the rest of your communications gear. A Cat6 data link can be run up to 90M away to link the fibre router to your existing routers location. it will not run over your existing phone connections
