The Hybrex manual for DK series handsets is a fairly good manual it’s small, concise and not full of intentionally blank pages. however it doesn’t explain anything about the Auto Attendant features that have become standard since it was written, nor does it include any instruction on the web browser based interface integral to the more powerful GDS 160 to GDS 640 or the G1e+M systems.

So because everyone keeps forgetting this stuff when I tell them, I’m writing it down here. if you follow these instructions you wont inadvertantly harm your Hybrex Digital System.

Please read the following carefully and make sure you understand before attempting anything. if you have any concerns we are happy to help.

 


Firstly you need to be at a console phone dial 0 (or 9 if your installer used 0 for outside lines) the console phones will now be ringing. If a message warns you the console is busy, either that phone is in use OR you've attempted ringing the console from itself. Once you know which phone is the console....

Hybrex Disa Night Greeting

"Thanks for calling, ring back tomorrow , we went home already"

  • lift the handset dial: 8901 (8902 if you have a voicemail card)
  • dial the password:  (1234, or #, try them in that order)
  • dial: 2 - “record company greeting message”
  • dial: 1 - “record company greeting message”
  • dial: 3 - “record disa night message” the current message will play:
  • dial 1 to re-record record the message after the tone, then press [mic/at] count to 10 then press #
  • press 1 to preview the message, 2 to re-record if you messed up or someone sneezed

Hybrex ACD Section One

"Thanks for calling, Please hold"

  • lift the handset dial: 8901 (8902 if you have a voicemail card)
  • dial the password:  (1234, or #, try them in that order)
  • dial: 2 - “record company greeting message”
  • dial: 2 - “record ACD greeting message”
  • dial: 1 - “record ACD section 1 message” the current message will play:
  • dial 1 to re-record record the message after the tone, then press # to finish
  • press 1 to preview the message, 2 to re-record if you messed up or someone sneezed

Hybrex ACD Section Two

"Thanks for holding, Please hold"

  • lift the handset dial: 8901 (8902 if you have a voicemail card)
  • dial the password:  (1234, or #, try them in that order)
  • dial: 2 - “record company greeting message”
  • dial: 2 - “record ACD greeting message”
  • dial: 2 - “record ACD section 2 message” the current message will play:
  • dial 1 to re-record record the message after the tone, then press # to finish
  • press 1 to preview the message, 2 to re-record if you messed up or someone sneezed

Setting the Date/Time on Hybrex Phone System

For G1e and G1 ONLY, From the operator only
  • from the console phone dial: [prog] 
  • dial: [hold]
  • dial: 7 
  • dial: [save]
  • dial: xx, for month (ie 01 for january) 
  • dial: xx, for date (ie 31 for 31st)
  • dial: xx, for year (ie 01 for 2001) 
  • dial: xxxx for time (24 hour time, ie 1337 is 1:37PM) 
  • dial: x for day of the week, monday = 1, sunday =0, friday = 5 etc.
  • dial: [save] 
  • dial: [spk]
  • dial: [save] 
  • done

Storing Speed dials On Hybrex Phone System

For G1e and G1 only, From the Operator only
  • From the console phone dial: [prog]
  • dial: (8)
  • dial: (7)
  • enter the Speedcode for the desired speed dial (100-299 at default)
  • *enter the phone number you wish to store (EG, 33331723)
  • *press [mic/at] [mic/at] (yes, press it twice)
  • *enter a name for the speed dial using the dialpad
  • *use the volume up and down keys to move the cursor right and left respectively
  • *once number and name are entered press [save]
  • if you wish to enter more speed dials continue doing so by repeating the steps with an * taking note of which speedcode is on the top row (eg, 09-101-01, would indicate speedcode 101)
  • TO EXIT: press [SPK], [SAVE]
