The Nec Sl2100 and Hybrex G1e Phone Systems are best suited to medical specialists that need automated attendants. the systems can be set to answer incoming calls after a brief period and play a recorded greeting. This greeting is special in that it can be interupted as soon as a staff member attempts to answer the call. A typical recording would suggest that certain symptoms may be life threatening and patient should try 000 rather than continuing to hold while waiting for staff to initially answer their call.

Afterhours announcements can also be setup that inform patients what the surgery's times are, what the afterhours number is and that emergency's are a matter for 000. These afterhours greetings do not take messages, and do not hold calls. they play the greeting then terminate the call.
