Early Learning and Childcare Centres

Phone Systems that have a small number of admin staff, and a large number of staff that need to be contactable but dont need to make phonecalls.

Childcare and Early Learning Phone System NBN ready

An early learning centre usually needs a small number of elaborate phones, a few cordless handsets occasionally devices such as tone ringers (loud ringers) paging (public address speakers) but the real problem is the front door intercom used in many centres

NEC

An NEC pabx is a good choice for childcare centres, available in digital or IP handsets, it can take advantage of older wiring if needed or can be driven by cabling meant for computers. The hardware to drive cordless phones is included on the hardware to drive digital phones.

The ability to drive IP phones includes the ability to drive IP doorphones. Although not directly NEC branded they work just as well as native doorphones for intercom  while extending to proper access control with named coded entry and access logs.

Hybrex

The Hybrex front door phone allows staff to unlock the door for parents without leaving their current location. these can sometimes be connected without the phone system using either the security system or as standalone units however doing so requires staff to unlock the door from specific buttons. these buttons are usually located near the door meaning staff need to more or less walk to the door to open it anyway.

The Hybrex G1e+ Phone System is well suited to childcare and early learning centres, it offers digital handsets which use the same kind of wiring traditional telstra phones use. without upgrades to the hardware it will offer upto 8 digital handsets, with upgrades upto 24

The G1e+ also has upto four analogue ports, these can be used for cordless phones, fax machines or even loud ringers. this can also be upgraded to up to 20 analogue devices if you don't need more than Eight digital phones.

The Hybrex G1e+ Phone System also supports paging as a standard feature, if needed.

The most useful feature to early learning centre's is the door phone functionality, hybrex's range of doorphones is varied with simple single button units right through to large units with full keypads and RFID readers. each digital doorphone works on the digital station ports of the phone system adding to the programming flexibility and ease of wiring. they also feature relay and security contacts.

Security contacts mean if wired to the security system any tampering with the door unit will set off the centre's alarm, the relays can be used to trigger the door release mechanism.

What differentiates the Hybrex G1e+ even further is that on top of the two relays in each doorphone is another relay from the phone system itself for increased security.

all systems are NBN compatible
