Communications systems requirements for the Hospitality industry have several key areas of focus. For Hotel management the features available are numerous: Front desk operations that are very comprehensive and easy to use; integrated Call Accounting and automatic charge generation for customer billing including itemised billing if required; for larger establishments there is a full Property Management Interface for connection to PMS systems such as Fidelio for example; choice of trunk interfaces and cost control for telephony services; Auto Attendant to reduce incoming call handling requirements; for room phone control there are many easy features - Check-in, Check-out, room status, call credit limit, wakeup call history, etc; if ACP phones are used for secure portal access logs can be made available if required; and many other features.
