The Hybrex GDS phone system is a very capable System. it's features go well beyond what most phone systems typically offer

Open numbering system

while most phone systems have very strict numbering plans for the various functions on offer Hybrex is almost completely configurable. you can choose to have one to eight digit station numbers  and unlike most systems can use these in combination.

the extension number is simply defined as required, for example a hotel that uses an extension number of 1 for reception both 0 and 9 for outgoing calls, 2 rings the restaurant, then each individual floor uses it's room number for the extension numbers. this means room 101 and the reception would normally clash, but the GDS is capable of exactly this without prefix digits. making the whole system simpler for guests

User Friendliness

The Hybrex GDS simplifies it's use. Voicemail will talk you through your options, but it wont slow you down if you know which buttons to press. any function assignable to the keys on the phone will always serve as a switch, unlike some systems that require separate keys for on and off.

but what really makes a GDS user friendly is that the Phone System is network based. you do not need to enter speed dials through messy phone interfaces. you can use a keyboard through a web browser. no additional software is required. named phones can be altered in seconds, the automatic night schedule can be altered, speed dials can not only be entered but a list can be generated and printed.

The Hybrex GDS is compatible with a broadrange of hardware including Hybrex Digital handsets, analogue handsets of most makes including faxes, cordless phones. Tone Ringers and conference phones. the GDS also supports all of the Line technologies Available such as ISDN and Voip solutions
